Zimbabweans cast their votes today in a parliamentary election. We can safely project a winner. President Robert Mugabe and his party. This despite the fact that his country’s economy is not what you’d call healthy. You may have heard of Mugabe’s land reform program… The one to transfer farm ownership from whites to blacks. The scheme has been riddled with allegations of corruption. Still it looks like the President’s managed to squeeze political profit out of this.
